Online Training for Nail Techs

Dr. Robert Spalding of Tennessee based Area Podiatry Centers offers three online courses for nail technicians who want to boost their knowledge of the industry as it pertains to medicine and safety. Students who choose to take all three courses will be eligible to take a final eight-hour on-site course (with real patients) to earn the title of Medical Nail Technician (MNT).

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

>“How to Prevent Death by Pedicure and Sterilization Techniques” highlights CEU certification on material from Dr. Spaulding’s book, “Death by Pedicure.”

>“Salon Emergencies and Disaster Concepts” addresses what to do in emergency situations that may occur in the salon.

>“Podiatry and Biomechanics for the Nail Technician” explores the anatomy of the foot and covers about 20 different foot problems in an in depth format.
