Toes in Pastels

Ah, spring. The snow is finally melting, flowers are beginning to bloom, and toes are emerging from the dark depths of boots and socks, signaling the start of the hotly anticipated sandal season. Get your clients in a pedicure mood by adding a touch of pastel on their toes. Not only do light shades of green, pink, peach, and blue go hand in hand with the season, they also help liven up toes with a soft dose of color. To get you inspired, we asked a few nail artists to come up with charming designs using pastel colors you can recreate on your clients.

Rub a Dub-Dub - a look at portable pedicure basins

Don’t have quite enough room in your salon for a full-fledged pedicure throne? A pedicure cart and footbath can come to the rescue. You can still offer your clients the same pampering, relaxing foot services that the big thrones offer. Use this handy guide to make your search easier. Then, get to stepping!

Sometimes there’s just not enough room for everything you’d like to put in your salon. Take pedicure thrones, for example. They’re a great way to help clients relax and feel pampered, but sometimes there’s just no space available in your salon for one.

But just because there’s not enough room or you’re not quite ready to invest in such a piece of equipment doesn’t mean you can’t give your clients the TLC they deserve. Instead, think small and invest in a pedicure cart and footbath.

Today’s crop of pedicure carts and footbaths offer comfort, style, and pampering for both the client and pedicurist. They’re versatile and can be placed just about anywhere — and can be put away just as easily. [originally published September 2003]
