As part of its antimicrobial skin care line designed to help nail technicians fight germs, viruses, and fungus, Dr. G’s has introduced 2-in-1 Antimicrobial Callus and Cuticle Remover. The product works on calluses in two to three minutes and takes one minute on cuticles. In addition, it exfoliates and softens with urea while preventing infections during treatment. “Most callus removers are not safe for technicians or clients as they may have dangerously high or low pH levels similar to battery acid, bleach, and oven cleaner,” says Dr. Kenneth Gerenraich, founder of Dr. G’s. “Our Callus and Cuticle Remover has a pH of 9.5, equivalent to baking soda and sea water.”
