Mining for Color: Fall Shades Are Rich and Dazzling

Just as molten magma crystallizes into stunning gemstones, watch with held breath as the fiery new fall polish colors transform into a dazzling array of gems before your eyes.

There's a sparkle and shine to the fall's latest nail polish colors. When we saw them all, we had a "gem" of an idea to photograph the polishes as if they were creating the gemstones themselves. Most polish makers this season had a jewel-box of colors: precious sapphires, lucky emeralds, and mysterious anthracites. The red palette covered the spectrum from rubies to orangey-golds.
