Students are more interested in the police officer's nails than her DARE message.
As reported in the Coronado Journal, police officer Diana Drummey (sister of NAILS editor Cyndy Drummey) was quizzed about her polish preferences while speaking to a group of first-graders about drug awareness. When Drummey finished giving her 15-minute DARE (Drug Awareness Resistance Education) talk to the children, she invited questions from the students. One young lady raised her hand almost immediately. “Is that flamingo red on your nails?” she inquired. Obviously, the girl has her priorities straight. Drummey gets her nails done at The Polished Image in Coronado, Calif.
