When my clients are in the salon I give them my full attention. It is important to remember birthdays and send out cards. I serve beverages in crystal glasses and I make sure to call if I know a client is sick. My clients make my business successful and I enjoy showing my appreciation for them.

I may my services special by taking my time on my clients. I am a perfectionist and my clients know and appreciate that. My specialty is airbrushing and my clients seem to love it — we have so much fun coming up with different ideas. I use different colours and get very creative. When I work, it’s just me and my client, so they really trust and confide in me.

I try to touch all of the senses—sight, smell, and hearing. I have relaxing waterfalls, fish tanks, a great-smelling tart burner, and an ’80s radio station that I advertise on. I listen to my clients since they are the boss. Most of all, I do a good job. I protect my clients with my knowledge of sanitation and sterilization.

Connecting with my clients is the number-one thing. I allow them to express their feelings at my table and I give positive feedback regardless of the situation. I make them feel relaxed and comfortable and this builds a bond, which forms friendships.
