Jim Nordstrom, president of the Nail Manufacturers Council, is asking members to consider a voluntary switch to childproof caps on primer. This request stems from two abstracts issued by the Massachusetts Poison Control System, both of which recommmended childproof packaging for artificial nail primers. "Many of us use the same caps and bottles, which could give us the opportunity to negotiate better pricing from the vendor," writes Nordstrom in a recent letter to the members. The issue will be discussed at the next NMC meeting during BBSI.
