Candidates representing the U.S., Canada, Czech Republic, Singapore, and Hong Kong, attended the CND Boot Camp 2014 in Carlsbad, Calif., in early August. A total 21 qualified “booties” graduated to become the next generations of CND Education Ambassadors.

Using a unique and comprehensive curriculum, the Boot Camp program incorporates the latest adult-learning techniques and holds the highest standards for nail tech practices. Through Boot Camp, CND continues to reaffirm its commitment to inspire and serve the needs of the nail professional with empowering education, reliable products, and business-building programs.
The intense seven-day advanced training had an emphasis on design, seasonal trends, facilitation techniques, and communication, and underlined the importance of personal wellness for a healthy body and mind. Nail techs in attendance mastered color theory and nail polish science, and developed superior nail skills using CND Shellac, Vinylux, Additives, Brisa Gels, Brisa Lite Removable Gels, as well as sculpting with Liquid & Powder.

“Education has always been a top priority here at CND and the Boot Camp is the foundation of our program,” says Jan Arnold, CND co-founder and style director. “We are so proud to welcome this talented new group of Education Ambassadors to the CND family as they head out into the world to spread CND’s message and continue to advance the state of the industry.”
