Iakubchuk

Inspired by the Spring/Summer look of Peter Pilotto’s London Fashion Week show, Nataliia Iakubchuk of NailDesign in Kiev created this design using acrylic powder and paint.

1. Use camouflage acrylic powder as the base. Combine blue, green, white, and yellow acrylics with shimmer and paint to the free edge. Decorate with small pieces of foil. Cover design background with transparent acrylic.

2. File and buff the service.

3. Draw thin lines using white acrylic paint.

4. Draw silhouettes of flowers without departing from the intended contours.

5. Mix acrylic paint with water.  With this translucent paint draw flower petals.

6. Add more lines to the petals.

7. Cover design with matte top coat.

8. Apply gel and cure in UV lamp for a glossy finish. If you want, you can add white gel to the edges of the line for a 3-D finish.
