Vicki Peters of Polish Salon in Brea, Calif., came up with a cute and crafty way to keep her brushes handy. The nail veteran repurposes old polish bottles (the bigger the opening, the better) by turning them into glittering storage options in just three steps.
1. Remove the cap and coat nail polish bottle with Mod Podge.
2. Use a brush to apply glitter. Make sure to coat the entire surface; then let dry.
3. If you want, add acrylic flowers for decoration.
4. Place brush inside and set bottle at work station.
Over time the bottles might require a touch-up, but this can be done easily and quickly between clients.
