OPI’s new app, OPI ColorChat, allows users to communicate in the universal languages of color and polish. Each polish blob is linked to a popular OPI lacquer and represents a letter of the alphabet. When you talk or text into the app, your message automatically gets translated into dots of color. You can find contacts or invite friends to chat via a hidden, colorful message. Even punctuation marks and emojis can be translated. “I’ve always believed color to be a great tool for self-expression,” says Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI co-founder and brand ambassador. “Now, color can be used for more than just a figurative statement, but a literal one as well,” she says. The app can be downloaded for free.
