Norway’s Nuts About Nail Art

Marit Endresen reports that treating nail biters, reinforcing natural nails, and applying silk and fibreglass wraps as well as artificial nails are gaining ground in Norway.

Marit Endresen, owner of the NeglAkademiet (The Nail Academy) in Oslo, sent these examples of nail art. Endresen, together with Greathe Aylward, founded the academy in 1988 to provide education for beauty professionals interested in nail care. Endresen reports that treating nail biters, reinforcing natural nails, and applying silk and fibreglass wraps as well as artificial nails are gaining ground in Norway. In addition, nail art is experiencing fast-growing popularity.
