This summer at Juke International’s classroom in Garden Grove, Calif., Vetro conducted its first Vetro Academy for experienced nail techs. Instructor Megumi Hasegawa led the educational demonstrations and taught students how to successfully apply products made by the popular Japanese gel brand.
This summer, instructor Megumi Hasegawa led Vetro’s first-ever Vetro Academy.
Once the student nail techs mastered the art of proper gel application, they moved on to learn on-trend nail art techniques, using flash curing to create unique patterns on the nail.
Vetro held two sets of two classes, one in June and one in July.
The first day of class was devoted to one-color gel-polish application. They were also instructed on proper product removal.
The second day focused on how to use the company’s No. 19 Color Gel, a line of pot gels available in more than 250 colors. The students learned how to execute classic French tips, a gradation, and three techniques, including scattered art, drop art, and geo-metallic art.
