Known for their commitment to color, OPI declared its commitment to professionals today when the brand introduced OPI GelColor Artist Series made specifically for pro-use only. GelColor Artist Series is a collection of 24 pod gels designed for nail art.

The launch event was held at the Lab Art, a street-art gallery in Los Angeles. In keeping with this artsy venue, everything was colorful and inspired, reflecting the possibilities offered by these two dozen new shades of soak-off gel. Artist Series will be available for purchase in July.

The designs displayed vibrant colors in primary, secondary, and tertiary shades that the line includes. They can cover the entire nail in one coat or they can be used for detailed line work and bold patterns.

Available in traditional nail lacquer and matching gel-polish, the summer collection includes five new colors with names like What’s the Double Scoop? and Tweet Me About it.

OPI also announced the release of OPI Plumping and OPI Brilliant, top coats for traditional lacquer designed to give the nail volume and offer high-shine respectively.

Two new OPI GelColor gel-polish base coats will also make their way to the market. The new base coats feature ridge filling and strengthening formulas.

OPI Infinite Shine’s color options also got bigger with the addition of eight new nude shades.
