The National Nail Technicians Group (NNTG) has named Jan Bragulla, president of Creative Nail design, its Person of the year for 1990. Karen Lessler, president of the NNTG, says the award is presented each year to an associate member of the NNTG who has “gone above and beyond the call of duty without asking for something in return.” Lessler says Bragulla earned the award for her efforts to raise the consciousness and professionalism of nail technicians.

Bragulla demonstrated her support for the NNTG’s goals by soliciting 300 new members during 1990. Additionally, Creative paid for the NNTG memberships of its 163 educators. Lessler says Bragulla’s project for 1991 is to work with educators to sign up 4,000 new members.

The NNTG presented the award to Bragulla at a reception at the IBS East show in New York on March 10.

Jan Bragulla earned the NNTG’s “Person of the Year” award.
