Back in 1992, the NAILS Fact Book (now called Big Book) ranked Dyanna Spa as the 13th top salon in the U.S. offering nail care. In 2017, owners Irina Gordon and Mona Winograd decided to move two doors down and redesign the spa. The pair worked with Salon Interiors in South Hackensack, N.J. Salon Interiors was chosen for its attention to detail and ability to consider all the requirements for licensing inspection. Senior designer Milton Santos included custom-built salon cabinetry and utilized the space for flow of traffic between service areas within the salon. The vibe of the New York City spa is upscale while remaining a neighborhood place. With an increasingly male clientele, it was important for spa goers to feel at home.
