With over 20 years of experience in the nail industry, Alisha Rimando has seen it all. She has worked with NYFW designers, helped open over 100 salons and schools in Japan, won world championships, and hosted the Milady Standard Nail Technology series. She has been featured in numerous publications for her beautiful nail work and has an affinity for French designs. As executive vice president and creative director of Artistic Nail Design, she brings the brand’s fun, edgy, and exclusive twist to a bridal-ready look.

Here are Rimando’s steps for recreating this month’s cover:

1. Sculpt long oval nails using Pink Concealer Powder. File, shape, and buff. Polish French edge using gel-polish in Bright White and cure.

2. Using a mini striper brush, create pink and lavender swirls over the white, filing in gaps with green. Cure. Polish entire nail surface with Glossing Gel. Cure, and cleanse.

3. Matte entire nail surface using a 180-grit buffer. Create rose, leaf, and any additional details using dark gray gel-polish. Cure.

4. Apply gold foil to sticky surface of details. Top coat entire nail with Glossing Gel, cure, and cleanse. Finish nail with Revive cuticle oil.
