Hang Out at Nail Tech Alley

You can thank Billyne Dowdy of Billyne’s Nail Studio in Battle Creek, Mich., for a new nail tech message board, Nail Tech Alley (www.nailtechalley.com). “I spend most of my time on the Internet admiring work from nail artists all around the world and thought it would be cool to have a forum where we could all communicate and learn together,” says Dowdy. “The site translates into 52 different languages and allows members to write in different languages as well.”  In addition to the forum, there is a nail gallery, chat room, and a place to discuss money matters and marketing. “We even have tons of instructional videos to watch, and techs can add as many videos and pictures as they like,” she says.  “I’m a member of the Odyssey Nail Systems competition team and noticed that there aren’t any nail forums for people who are interested in competing so I made an area for that too.”
