1984 was quite a year. Apple Computer introduced the Macintosh, stonewashed jeans had just made their entrance into pop culture, and “The Karate Kid” was the movie to see. The year was also a revolutionary one for the nail industry. Backscratchers Salon Systems introduced fiberglass wrap technology, changing the dynamics of the industry forever.
