“I had the purses made as a way to advertise and start conversations,” says Geneva Holcomb of Imagio Salon and Spa in League City, Texas, who created two custom Miche Bags that boldly proclaim her love of the nail industry. “One bag has my hands on one side (Athena Elliott did the nail art) and on the other side is a picture of my blinged-out Valentino Beauty Pure. The other bag has pictures of my work on each side. My clients have really liked them both.” They also break the ice with strangers. “People approach me about my purse all the time and it starts us talking about nails and makes it easier for me to pass my cards out,” she says. “At shows techs ask about the Valentino, or we start just talking about nail art, which is my current passion.” Though Miche no longer makes custom purses, you can design customized bags and accessories at www.snaptotes.com.
