Daring Demo…That Pays Off!

Well, this week has been good for new clients finding the spa online and for new services being tried out. As Heather said, I had a great Saturday! Add-on services, new people, and open minds all just seemed to blossom in my room. I actually do have a daily goal of $250, and I surpassed it for the first time since I reopened my business. Now if I can only get the other days to catch up! Next week, I’m going to be tracking my numbers daily, a task that will be kept up for a while until I get where I need to be with my goals.

 

One of the biggest challenges in meeting my goals is bringing in new nail clients. I was part of a networking group in Florida and have joined a group here in Apex, N.C. They graciously let me do a 10-minute presentation with a five-minute question-and-answer session. Although I was so nervous to speak in front of about 60 people, it went very well! I did a demo of a PerfectSense Paraffin Treatment, where I had volunteers dip one hand in the gloves. I wanted to inform all of the networkers about the benefits when getting this therapeutic treatment, and let them know that coming into the spa isn’t just about French nails or acrylics. Plus, I let everyone know what I stand for...sanitation and healthy nails that fit my clients’ lifestyles. The response from people I’ve never met before was extremely positive, and I was approached by a golf pro and a jewelry designer to come to their businesses for their next workshops to do another demo. Yay!
