Heather: Locating a coach is easy! Finding the right one for your needs is a little more challenging. First, I believe that working with someone with a keen understanding of our industry is a must. Even more importantly, you need one with a team behind them from every area of the business.

Inspiring Champions has just that. Our team of coaches not only has industry experience, but salon owners who have turned around their businesses, an MBA from Harvard, an expert in bringing new clients into a salon, a cash flow expert, accountants, etc. No matter the situation, there's always another team member eager to help solve the problem.

A typical contract begins at six months. Usually that includes two, one hour calls per month. It gives plenty of time to fully facilitate any changes and is a complete tax write-off in most cases. Feel free to contact me with any more questions.

Editor’s note: If you’re just starting out in the industry, you might also consider finding a mentor in your area or online, who can work with you on technique and troubleshooting. BeautyTech.com has a mentor board. You can sign up here.
