Basketball Nails

Here’s a little conversation starter for some of your male clients.

According to a report from the San Antonio Express, San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili lost a finger nail on one of the fingers on his shooting hand prior to game one of the Lakers Spurs playoff series, and had to have an acrylic put on to protect it. Ginobili went on to have quite an off night, missing 10 out of the 13 shots he took during the game, but he would make no excuses for his performance. “The hand is all right. That’s just a nail. My ankle is bothering me and I’ve got a couple of little things, but I don’t want to talk about that. That’s not the reason why I played so bad. I’ve just got to step up and play better,” he said.

Ginobili has seemed to recover from the injury, scoring 30 points in the following game, but the Spurs still trail the Lakers three games to one heading into the fifth game.
