NAILS Offers New Online Channels

by NAILS Magazine | September 2, 2008 | Bookmark +

Hello out there in the NAILS blogosphere. Hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend (hopefully you didn’t have to work all weekend and everyone stayed away from Hurricane Gustav). We’ve been busy over here at NAILS headquarters and I want to let you all be the first to hear of a few of our newest online offerings.

First, we have an all-new homepage to help make navigating the site a little easier for you all. You’ll notice we’ve got our new Channels at the top of the page. (These are special sections of our website dedicated to specific segments of the nail industry…but more on these in a minute.) We’ve also made it easier to access all of our Blogs (we’re getting ready to launch our 5th blog, check back for that in a few weeks), our most-posted on Forums, the most Popular Searches, and of course, NAILS magazine content.

We’ve been deepening our archives and posting more articles online (this is a work-in-progress, but if you click on Past Issues, you’ll see that we’ve got more content online than any other industry publication). We’ve even got (practically) every cover since we launched 25 years ago posted up there!

So back to the Channels. Here’s a rundown of what’s new:

Style features polish and color trends, interior design, trend stories, nail art, behind-the-scenes video, and other style-related content.

The Conscious Salon is for professionals interested in organic beauty, green business principles, new products, self-improvement, and product science.

Feet is where the serious pedicurist can find everything she needs relating to foot care, including service ideas, business tips, design ideas, toenail art, and questions answered by the field’s top experts.

Read Hot Off the Presses to find out what the consumer beauty press is saying about professional nail care. NAILS reviews over 20 magazines monthly and reports to you what’s being said… and we’ll show you how to use the information to your advantage.

I hope you find the new features of our site interesting and useful. And I’d love to hear what you think about them. Or drop me a note if  there’s something you’d like to see more of online or in the magazine.
