Allow me to French Halloween ’Ya

by NAILS Magazine | October 21, 2008 | Bookmark +

Loni Jensen Preato, of Da-Lonnie’s Hair & Nail Studio in Las Vegas, shows how to use a Q-Buffer to make a special “V”-French in a Halloween nail.

1. Prep nail.

2. Prime nail.

3. Apply pink acrylic.

4. Allow pink acrylic to set for five to 15 seconds depending on the speed of your acrylic system, then press the correct size V-French into the pink and pull down off the nail plate. If you do it right, you will be left with a perfect V-French smile line.

5. Apply your colored acrylic or white acrylic next.

6. File and shape.

7. Then apply your finishing gloss product.
