Hand Reading

by NAILS Magazine | January 16, 2009 | Bookmark +

There was an article on Yahoo recently about a study done by the University of Cambridge in England that stated the length of a man’s ring finger correlates to his financial success. The study found that men who have a comparatively long ring finger in relation to their index tend to be more successful in the high-stakes financial trading industry.

This got me thinking about nail techs and whether they start to see patterns in clients after spending so much time with their hands, year after year. I looked up “palm reading” on Wikipedia, and learned that it’s actually called “chiromancy” and that it has been found in cultures all over the world dating back to ancient times.

What do you think? Having spent a lot of time with many people’s hands, do you think these findings have any merit?
