What Price Beauty?

by NAILS Magazine | April 29, 2009 | Bookmark +

Makeup, highlights, waxing, and, of course, mani/pedis, don’t come cheap. In fact, Newsweek estimates today’s beauty-conscious woman will pay $449,127 for “cosmetic maintenance” over the course of a lifetime.

And how much of that $449,127 goes toward her hand and foot care needs? The grand total is $27,336, assuming she starts as a tween and enjoys an average of six manicures (at $23 each) and six pedicures (at $44 each) every year.
