I had my last live practice session Sunday night. My willing model gave up watching the playoffs so I could get one last practice done and be ready for next weekend — thank you Ashley, you’re a peach!
I want you all to take a look at the image above, so you can understand what the benefits of competing are. If I hadn’t become known through competing, I never would have been able to do this cover. This image is not the actual cover, (you can see that here), but by having my name out there in competitions I was able to be on the “who’s who” list that led the publication to call me. And that goes for trade publications too. If you want them to see your work, they are at every trade show, so get out there.
