Ken Cassidy is a cosmetologist and business owner who has been in the beauty industry for 35 years, during which time he has had experience with employees, booth renters, and contract labor staff. He is an expert in legal and profitable salon business structures. Cassidy is also holds a cosmetology instructor’s license. He is an accomplished writer and lecturer who has been published in numerous national trade journals.
He was honored with a Resolution on the California Senate Floor recognizing his legislative efforts; he sponsored two different pieces of legislation to protect the beauty industry and the consumer in California. In addition Cassidy was elected to the California Cosmetology Association Hall of Fame with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
