During the ISSE Mirror Image competition, I became painfully aware that my spruced up little Gelly (my nickname for my gel lamp) just wasn’t cutting it anymore. I really had trouble getting a good cure. The gel just wouldn’t shine and it rolled off when I tried to file. I was just having all kinds of trouble.
So out with the old and in with the new, I say.
I bought a new lamp.
Now my clients are screaming about the heat spike. LOL. I tell them there’s no extra charge for the pain (just kidding). But the gel stays on better now, which equals happier clients and a happier manicurist because I don’t have to struggle with that dang gel.
Look out gel people — I’ve been practicing.
