Introducing NEW Nail Art Gallery

by NAILS Magazine | April 23, 2010 | Bookmark +

We know how much our readers and web users love nail art! It’s one of the most searched for topics in all of nails. So we’ve been working on this awesome new nail art site for the last year or so and I’ve been so excited to announce it to you all. I can hardly believe the time has come.

So with no further ado, I’d like to introduce you all to NAILS Magazine’s brand-new Nail Art Gallery. The site was designed for nail artists to post and share your nail art with the world. And it also has a social networking aspect. So it’s kind of like a cross between Facebook and Flickr.

And guess what? It’s FREE to create a profile and start posting pictures of your art! (There is an advanced PRO membership that allows you to post unlimited images and gives you some other great perks. And it’s only $20 a year.)

All you have to do is sign up and the site will basically walk you through creating your profile, uploading your profile photo, and uploading your nail art photos.

And once you’re all set up, you can start browsing through other members’ profiles and looking at their nail art. This is where the social networking part comes in. You can “become a fan” of other nail artists. You can comment on their photos, and you can click “like” on their photos. You can also send other nail artists a message directly on the Nail Art Gallery.

The best part is it allows you to keep all of your nail art in your own portfolio for everyone to see. So now all of your pictures can be in one place. Share it with your friends and family. Share it with your clients. Share it with other nail artists. (You don’t have to be a member to look at the site…so you can forward anyone your profile address and they can see your art.)

We’re doing a soft launch now, and we’re having a launch party with BeautyTech.com at the Premiere show in Orlando. If you’re going to be at the show and you’d like to come learn more about Nail Art Gallery (and network with other nail techs and win some awesome prizes), you can get a ticket here.

Once you sign up, please let me know if you have any questions or comments about the site. I can also be reached on Nail Art Gallery at the nailsmagazine profile.

What are you waiting for? Create a profile and start posting!
