Italian-based nail product company, Nailevo, completed its first ever European Nail Cruise this past May 9th, after spending eight educating days sailing along the coasts of Italy, Greece, and Croatia. The luxurious MSC Musica sailed to some of the most romantic places in the Mediterranean Sea while top global nail experts taught everything from gels to acrylics to e-file techniques and more.
Vicki Peters, Elaine Watson, and Iryna Giblett were the main protagonists of the 20 hands-on classes and seminars, with nail techs enjoying their classroom on the 13th floor of the ship with a beautiful panoramic view.
The fiberglass and soak-off gel classes, along with the electric file international masterclass and the 3D Nail Art seminar, turned out to be the most popular classes. Vicki Peters, who has been organizing Nailcruises in the U.S. for over 15 years said, “I am very satisfied with the Italian nailtechs, they seemed to be very interested in learning and improving their own skills, even though everyone had a different professional level.”
Elaine Watson agreed with Vicki and added “We highlight the importance of hygiene too, just to protect the final customer and to elevate the quality of nail service too. I am so happy and so amazed by the good results everyone achieved on board.”
Iryna Giblett also stressed the importance of nail art on the cruise saying, “Nail Art is an important way to improve general expertise and to ensure a better performance in everyday work. On board, we tried to outline steady points of reference beyond any spectacular creation.”
