Competition Insider

Dear Readers

I have to apologize for my errant responsibility shirking, it was the zucchini’s fault. But that is an entirely different subject and if you would like to read about it you can do so here on my Facebook page.

Now for some ramblings of the Competition Insider…

Oh man, I was cleaning out my suitcase, really my competition kit. You know, just taking inventory, getting ready for the next event. I try to take stock about a month before the competition, so that I have time to acquire any things that I may need.

Well what a mess. I usually pack all of my products really well or so I thought. But coming home from Florida, something clearly blew up in there. I had all these bottles with really nice silver chromed tops on them (which is not really chrome, but silver paint) and do you know what happens when — I’m not even sure what it was that popped — acetone/acrylic liquid/gel cleanser leaks on paint? That’s right it curled and flaked off those nice bottles. I’m so frustrated, I just replaced all those bottles. Now they look like, well you know, crap.

And I don’t want to travel with products that look like that. Not to mention that the curling silver paint gets all over the place...Ah well, lesson learned; no more painted caps.

And I’m not going to post pictures of that mess either, you’ll have to settle for a picture of some trophies that myself and my little Team Pink won in Las Vegas last year instead.

 :)
