Ah. She’s priceless. Completely dependable. I’ve never once had to worry about her showing up on time. She has done every single thing I’ve asked her to do. On competition days, this one is even awake before I am and has already made the coffee. Even after a full day of competitions, she can remember where I parked the car when I can’t. (Because I’m usually fried.)

A perfect hand model. Again, I would not have been able to make the gains that I have without her either.

Though I have yet to take her out of the country, it’s hard for me to plan a trip without including her. Our next “family” trip of course is Sacramento. I know she likes this trip because it’s her old stomping grounds. She gets to see her friends and her family, and I never have to worry about entertaining her (or the other Jen, Jenny Tam) because they both usually find something else to do.

But what if this is the last time?

Jen will soon be graduating from law school and will be off to start her career as a fantastic attorney defending people that can’t defend themselves. And I’ll be sad because I’ll miss her. It seems that I’ve grown dependent on my models, not just for modeling but because they understand me and what I’m trying to do with all this competing stuff in the first place — and because we’ve become friends.

*Sniff *...

Well then, I guess I’ll just have to retain her as my own attorney.

So there.
