International Nail Competition Judges Consortium

by NAILS Magazine | September 28, 2010 | Bookmark +

The other day I was surfing around on my Facebook page — not as though I don’t do this enough, cause lately it seems that everyone is on Facebook. In fact even my family now is on there. It’s the only place I can keep in touch with some of them, and it’s fast becoming the best place for me to keep in touch with all my nail friends.

But anyways, I was going through my “group invitation” area (187 invites) and I ran across an invitation to join a group called “International judging conference in nails.” This group already has 334 members and I was invited to join way back around the first of the year. I can’t believe I missed it, (the invite not the conference.) So from what I can gather, it seems that the creator of the page is asking for input as to whether we should have a nail competition judging conference?

So, I’m sure you already know my answer to this question. Considering one of my biggest complaints is that nail competitions world wide are almost completely unregulated, I think it would be absolutely advantageous for the nail competition community to demand such an organization. (One that is not controlled by a single manufacturer.) And for the record, I would personally volunteer my time to this endeavor.

First on the agenda though, deciding a locale...
