Woman arrested for calling 911 to complain about manicure: MyFoxORLANDO.com

According to the Volusia County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office, Cynthia Colston of Deltona, Fla., was fighting with her nail technician at Central Nails because she apparently didn’t like the length of her nails — she thought they were too short and she didn’t want to pay the full amount. During the altercation the nail technician got slightly hurt, but it was Colston who called Volusia County Sherriff’s deputies to the salon. While one deputy was inside trying to settle the dispute over payment, Colson was calling 911 again, for the fourth time. She had called two times after her original 911 asking when deputies would arrive. With no emergency, and a deputy already on the scene, Colston was arrested and charged with misuse of the 911 system.

And Colston will need a new manicure — they made her take the nails off in jail.
