ISSE 2011: Minx Launches Celebrity Manicurists' Lines

by NAILS Magazine | January 30, 2011 | Bookmark +

Even though its booth is a little out of the way in the Arena, it seems that nail techs are having no problem finding the Minx booth. And it is definitely worth stopping by because celebrity manicurists Lisa Logan (pictured, right) and Marian Newman have launched their own lines of Minx nail coverings! Lisa herself adorned me in her design "Happy Dots," originally inspired by a cell phone cover (though heavily adapted to better fit Lisa's vision of "bubbles floating through the air"). You should also check out Lisa's "Eclipse" design — inspired by a pair of boxer shorts.

While there, also be sure to find the brand's new chrome designs, new starter kits, new "base coat" Minx that works really well for layering, and new tools for even easier application. Booth #2809.

Here's an example of Minx's new layering system, with one row of the Oil Slick design on top of one row of the Minxlusion base coat design.

Some of the more transparent designs can be layered on top of solid colors like these celebrity manicurist designs worn by Minx social media director Jo Copsey (left) and Matthew Goodwin (right two hands).
