Babble.com: Nail Taxi Founder Is Top Mom-preneur

There’s definitely a special kind of respect that I bestow to a mom-preneur (also known as a mom-trepreneur or a mom who starts and runs her own business while simultaneously raising children).  Their time-management skills and multi-tasking skills are really in a class all their own.

Recently, Babble.com, a parenting website, recognized the top 50 mom-preneurs of 2011, and coming in at No. 8 is the nail industry’s own Cinnamon Bowser. Bowser founded Nail Taxi, a mobile nail service, in 2005, after being inspired to find a solution to the plight of a pregnant friend who was unable to get anyone to come to her home to give her a pedicure before she delivered her baby.

More recently, Bowser’s entrepreneurial skills have come into play again with her newly launched Get Polished! Agency, a boutique agency she created to provide professional nail techs to the advertising, publishing, and entertainment worlds
