ABS 2011: Eliminer Callus Removal System

by NAILS Magazine | March 16, 2011 | Bookmark +

Many states won't let nail salons use credo blades on clients (they can be dangerous, as you can accidentally cut clients' skin with them), but here's a callus removal alternative that uses a disposable RotoFile Caps instead to smooth out calluses without the use of a blade. The file part of the Eliminer Callus Removal System was developed by a podiatrist, then the full system was honed by Global Beauty Institute in Parkland, Fla. Basically, the starter kit contains 20 one-time-use RotoFile Caps, two reusable RotoFile Bases (which fits most Dremel tools), Prep Solution, After Care Cream (you may want extras to retail to clients), a DVD, and illustrated instructions. The company says this system reduces the exhausting hand labor that can be required to smooth calluses without a blade.
