New Nail School, Networking Event in Wisconsin

by NAILS Magazine | April 11, 2011 | Bookmark +

It’s a good time to be a nail tech or aspiring nail tech in the Midwest.

For aspiring nail techs, there’s a new nail-focused school, Elite Nail School and Training Center that just opened in Madison, Wis. School founders Georgianna and Gary Halverson say, “Not only do we ensure our students receive the 300 required hours of training, but we go beyond that to also include practical, real life guidance to prepare them for life in the salon. We have been in the salon industry for over 16 years and have taken all that experience and enhanced our curriculum. We also integrate instruction that deals with their finances.”

For licensed nail techs, the school will also be hosting a networking event and nail competition on May 15 (rescheduled from an earlier January date). The day starts at 9 a.m. with vendor demos and the “do you own” nail competition is at 12 noon. For more information or to register, visit http://elitenailschool.com/networking-event.
