Ask an Editor: How Can I Get My Nail Art Featured on the 365 Days of Nail Art blog?

by NAILS Magazine | May 4, 2011 | Bookmark +

Of course, we’ve already told you how to get your nail art featured in the pages of NAILS Magazine. But I also get a lot of questions from nail artists who want to be included on our 365 Days of Nail Art blog.

This one is quite simple actually. All you have to do is e-mail your pictures to editor@nailsmag.com and we’ll put you in the queue. We’re always looking for new artists and new designs. And since we’re putting them up on the web we don’t have a three-month lead time…which means you can send in your holiday nails a few weeks before the actual holiday instead of a few months.

Often, when I’m looking for specific types of nails (Mother’s Day, for example) I’ll post a notice on Facebook to remind nail artists to send their pictures in. So make sure you “like” us on Facebook.

All photos you send in should be at least 125 dpi, saved as a jpeg, and at least 500 pixels wide. And don’t forget to include your name, web address, city, state, salon name, and materials used so we can give you proper credit! Also, we won’t post any photos with watermarks, so please send us the plain, untouched photos.

I hope to see some new names in the e-mail box with nail art designs. And don’t forget, you can always peruse Nail Art Gallery for inspiration.
