On May 7, employees of American International Industries (A.I.I.) joined with more than 50,000 walkers and runners at the 18th Annual Revlon Run/Walk in Los Angeles. This event raises funds that are crucial to the fight against women’s cancers.
Taking the team name from their faux lash brand, Ardell, the A.I.I. Team called themselves Ardell Lashes Out for a Cure. Team members walked and ran in Ardell Wild Lashes — a fun, fanciful fringe of pink and silver.
This was the sixth year that an A.I.I. team was sponsored by executive vice president, Terri Cooper. “We’re in the business of making women look and feel good,” says Cooper. “Cancer, however, can have such a profound effect on both. Our participation in this event reminds us that what we do is important and so is our commitment to this cause.”
