Blueprint of a First Year

Tickled Pink Expansion Update

Things have been very slow moving on the expansion/rennovation plans. It's been so hectic with all the festivals that we had to put things on hold for a bit. But we will be getting back to work in June. With the delay in working on the room we are having to move our Princess Bash back a month to end of July. We are finding more and more every day that we desperately need the additional space. Particularly when we have larger Princess Spa Parties. The first weekend in June we plan to get the walls completed - needing drywall on two small walls and painting. If time permits we will also get the flooring started the same weekend. We're going with a commercial grade tile for durability.

Our Cinco de Mayo Celebration was awesome. While we didn't have the turnout we expected (lots of RSVPs for the event but not all showed up) it was still a great event. Customers got to sample Lucy's cuisine and it gave Lucy and me some time to get to know each other on a more personal level since she came to my house for us to do all the cooking. Our menu: Flautas, Tostadas, Quesadillas, Biñuelos, Flan, Chocolate Cake, Orchata Water.
