Behind the Scenes of Nail Files Episode 3

Hello my beautiful friends,

I just finished watching Nail Files Episode 3 while I sit here in Scottsdale, Arizona. (It's 98 degrees at 11 pm — REDONK!!). Shout out to all of my HOT new Arizona friends!

I'm hoping you all enjoyed the show. In this episode you saw me getting glammified for the Grammy’s! What an experience I had…and how cute was my Dudey?!

I do have to say that I'm still in awe of my beautiful dress that was custom-made by Margi Kent. I would totally wear that every day if I could. Well, for $12,000, I think Walter would MAKE me wear it every day. And he probably wouldn't mind either :) The dress took a week to make and I went to three fittings prior to the finished product!

My “wake up and go back to reality” moment occurred when I had to return my borrowed jewelry from Martin Katz! Ugh. It was so sparkly and fabulous! But a little too fabulous for my lifestyle!

One thing I've learned from this episode is that it's ok to hire outside people for help! Seriously. My office was in complete disarray and became a storage/dumping ground for everything that didn't have a place. I finally gave up on walking over my file folders that I called in a professional organizer. Holy amazeballs did they turn my whole office and salon around! I feel so organized and efficient now. What wasn't shown was that shortly thereafter the California State Board paid us a visit and we passed with not one infraction! Not even a file was out of place. So the money I paid for Operation Organization was well spent. It's always OK to ask for help!

And, we've got a crazy new episode next week: It's Walter's birthday so you can bet we went big willy style! He asked for a low-key celebration. Whoops :)

Thanks for watching you crazy kids!

Much love and totally fabulous fingernails, Katie
