Hey you frequent flyers, next time you’re 40,000 feet up, take a moment to notice what your flight attendant is wearing on her nails. If you’re flying Virgin Atlantic, she’ll be wearing CND Shellac in Wildfire, which was just named the official nail color for the company’s flight attendants. The siren-red shade perfectly coordinates with uniforms and promises two-week round-trip wear with no chipping, smudging, or dulling.

Shellac is not just for the flight crew — Virgin also now offers free manicures in their Clubhouse lounges to first- and business-class passengers. It has added Shellac to its service menu as an upgrade option in its Clubhouse at Heathrow and Gatwick. Service includes a take-away pack with Solar Oil, one package of Shellac remover wraps, and a bottle of acetone, along with consumer marketing materials.

Shellac was the number-one requested paid service in the London Virgin Atlantic Business lounges less than two months after being launched on May 1, 2011. As a bonus, the flight attendants all say that they have had amazing compliments on their Wildfire Shellac nails and are all really happy to be wearing Shellac.
