Behind the Scenes of Nail Files Episode 4

On the latest episode of Nail Files, I decided to throw Walter an extravagant Russian-themed birthday party; and I wanted fancy restaurant Romanov’s as the venue. I really felt like I worked hard the past year and wanted to show it not by a gift but a fab party for Walter. The price was crazy steep, but as a business owner I knew I could do a deal with the bait of some free nail services and a mani/pedi party —hey it’s all about trades!

To up the birthday ante even more, I hired a Russian dance troupe to teach me a traditional Russian gypsy dance. What you didn’t see were the three other long, hard practices I did to fully learn the routine. I was coming home so late and telling Walter it was because I was preparing my taxes! Ha ha ha! So, the big night finally arrived. I didn’t tell a single person and slipped away to get ready. I was really, REALLY nervous, but I think it all turned out fun and cute!

Back at The Painted Nail, tips started to go missing and all fingers were pointing at Tina. You would think since there are cameras present, you wouldn’t do that but some people acted so strange as soon as the cameras were around! Tina was a great person when I hired her but over time she started to become full of excuses — not showing up and frankly a little crazy (in a scary way). When the employees confronted her about the missing money, she started to come up with odd excuses and started sending streams of odd text messages giving me unwanted business advice and obsessing over Nichole’s friendship with her beauty schoolmate Anna. In the end, I called Tina into my office to get to the bottom of her behavior. And you'll see the end result in next week’s episode!

Also, some big names dropped by the salon. I show Full House’s Candace Cameron my gymnastics skills and have drinks with the girls of the Jersey Shore.

You will see the continuation of the Jersey girls — Snooki, J-Woww, Deena and Sammi — on next week’s episode as well! It was crazy fun and those girls are exactly like what you see on TV. I never had clients quite like these girls!

Thanks so much for the support and see ya next week!
