China Glaze’s neutral shades nailed it at the Spring 2012 Mercedes’ Benz New York Fashion Week as models showcased their polished manicures alongside the garments of top designers. China Glaze nail lacquers were hand-selected by designers and their teams to be featured on the hands and feet of their fashion models.

The American contemporary line Porter Grey selected China Glaze Nude to be applied to the nails of each model for their presentation. The light beige and opaque shade complemented each skin tone well while keeping the garment as the center of attention.

China Glaze Nude was also selected for the manicures at the Tadashi Shoji show along with the Tadashi favorite sheer pink Innocence that was used on toes. Partnering with China Glaze for NYFW since the Fall of 2009, China Glaze’s neutral shades accentuate the romantic gowns for which Tadashi Shoji is known.

Celebrity manicurist Patricia Yankee was backstage at the Focus Taiwan presentation, where six of Taiwan’s brightest fashion designers showcased their collections. Yankee used China Glaze Crackle Glaze in Black Mesh over a glossy jet black shade to create a multi-dimensional effect for the models’ pedicures.
