Q&A: Opening in the Winter

How do you feel about opening a nail spa in the winter?
Jay

Hi Jay,

Excited, and for two reasons. If I remember correctly, Robbie mentioned in his Blueprint post that it helps to have a soft opening to work out kinks. I can only imagine how many "oops" moments we'll have in the beginning. A March opening will help us smooth out the kinks and prepare for the summer sandal season. And second, we want to be open and ready for business when the spring nail color collections are released. With so many nail polish manufacturers advertising their color releases in magazines and beauty blog coverage, it's a great opportunity to introduce ourselves as a nail spa with the freshest nail color releases!
