Jill, those are all great ideas to help raise our pre-book percentage. I can’t wait to try some of the other ones out later in the year. We are going with the product-filled gift basket drawing for now. I brought up the idea to our entire spa side and they are really excited to be a part of it. We are making a contest out of it for the employees. Our salon often runs different types of contests for the employees to help work towards a given goal. Whoever at the end of December has the most improved pre-book percentage wins a prize. We have three estheticians, two massage therapists, and the two of us nail technicians who are working toward that prize.
This should be a great way to increase the reserved appointments for the entire spa side and help all of us be busier in the slowest time of the year. I am really excited to see how this can grow our spa. Our guests are super excited too! They are really responding well so far to the drawing. I myself have been able to get several guests to pre-book all of their appointments through the end of January. Rachael has already has pre-booked many of her guests for several appointments through to December. I don’t have the numbers yet on how the other girls are doing on the spa side but I have heard them tell their clients about the drawing and they are really into it. I will keep you updated on the progress we all have.
