A Time for Gratitude

As 2011 comes to a close, I hope that the good things about your year outweigh the bad. It seems to me like the perfect time to say thank you for the great things, move on from the bad things, and dream of future things.

Thank you NAILS Magazine and your amazing readers for allowing me to post to this blog and network with amazing nail professionals around the world.

Thank you to all the nail professionals who took the time to attend my classes, watch my videos, or hang out here or on Facebook this year.

Thank you to those who work hard to bring nail tech networking online where I can always afford to attend.  :o)

Thank you to everyone who wrote a guest blog, tolerated an interview, gave advice, and provided encouragement.

Thank you to the lovely gals at Creative Academy + Bournemouth for welcoming me to the UK, I love visiting across the pond.

Thank you to my clients who put up with a limited schedule for their appointments and let me do crazy things to their nails for the sake of education.

Thank you CND for not only allowing me to be part of the family, but for the honor of being acknowledged by my peers.

Thank you to ICE for not only voting me in but giving me a chance to work as part of the 2012 Design Team.

Thank you to the amazing nail professionals that rocked out the Hawaii Master Series with Tanya and me.

Thank you to the U.S. distributors who let me teach classes, attend sales meetings, and work shows with you.

Thank you to Scratch for the fab article that made me sound so cool.

Thank you to my family for letting me chase my dreams.

I have gone back through the comments on all the 2011 blogs to compile a list of requested topics and videos that I have not done yet. I hope to attend more event/show venues to network with some more of you in person this year. If you have any requests for topics, videos, etc., let me know.

Have a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2012!!

In all of our pasts lay our futures. By our own hands and decisions we will be damned and we will be saved. Whatever you do, put forth your best effort even if all you're doing is chasing a never-ending rainbow. You might never reach the end of it, but along the way you will meet people who will mean the world to you and make memories that will keep you warm on even the coldest nights. — Soteria
